Birkenleder – Is a synonym in the German language for the regenerating skin of the birch tree. A symbol for tradition, old craftsmanship and pure nature. These features attracted my attention and the motivation to work with this material.

Birkenleder – This projects is a part of me since 2008. It accompanied me during my carpenter apprenticeship and my Interior Design studies. It developed itself through self-learning and extended itself by my learnt knowledge and modern processing technologies.
