BASIC 002 is made out of the inner side of the birch bark. The feel of the surface resembles leather of an animal but is 100% vegetable.
In preindustrial time this inner side was used as substitute for leather.
The material stands out with its durablity and warmness. The colors differs from fawn to deep red. The viriaty of the surface structure brings a bit of life into every cool and reserved room.
This basic product convinces one with its simplenss in assembling and its puristic look. In combination with a Multiplex mounting plate the edge looks pretty without a frame, too.
For framed solutions or for special use it is recommended to use MDF plates.
On request the edge can also be prepared with a groove for extraneous tongues.
BASIC 002 is perfect for big surfaces e.g. walls or as eye catcher.
